Summer Camp Program

The Dutchess Divas & Gents Youth Club Summer Enrichment Camp provides a fun, safe, and engaging environment for school-age children to learn, grow, and explore throughout the summer. Our program offers academic support and enrichment in Math, English, and Handwriting, along with hands-on STEM programming, Visual Arts, violence prevention education, and one-on-one counseling that promotes positive decision-making, confidence, and character development. Campers participate in interactive learning activities that keep young minds active while building important life skills. In addition, two days each week campers enjoy exciting educational field trips to museums, colleges, and other learning destinations, helping expose them to new opportunities and experiences while reminding them that their dreams and future possibilities are limitless.
City of Montgomery Office of Violence Preventions
Teaching the youth how to resolve conflicts peacefully, manage emotions, and make positive choices. Through guided discussions and activities, students learn respect, communication skills, and ways to build safe and healthy relationships.
Snapology of The River Regions
Offering hands-on STEM activities where children learn science, technology, engineering, and math through creative building projects. These engaging sessions encourage teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving while making learning fun.
Urban Dream Fine Arts
Provides engaging visual arts instruction that encourages creativity, imagination, and self-expression. Through hands-on art projects and guided lessons, students explore different artistic techniques while building confidence and developing their creative skills.
Character Development
Helping build confidence, leadership, and positive self-identity through the Dutchess Divas & Gents affirmations. Divas learn the meaning of being Divine, Inspired, Virtuous, Awesome Sister, while Gents are encouraged to be Gentle, Excellent, Noble, Talented Scholar as they grow into respectful and responsible young leaders.
Core Courses
(English / Math)
Taught by experienced, master’s degree–certified teachers with extensive backgrounds in the school system. Students receive quality instruction and support designed to strengthen their academic skills, build confidence, and help them succeed in the classroom.
FIELD TRIP EXPERIENCE
Giving students the opportunity to explore and learn beyond the classroom through exciting educational outings. Campers visit colleges, museums, and historical landmarks, while also participating in swimming lessons through our partnership with the YMCA and enjoying fun skating sessions at the roller rink.
